Welcome to first grade! I am so excited to be your child's teacher. We are going to have such a great school year! My goal is to create a nurturing and engaging classroom environment where every child feels valued and empowered to learn. I strive to foster a love for learning through creative activities, collaborative projects, and individualized support. By encouraging curiosity, confidence, and critical thinking skills, I aim to inspire my students to reach their full potential and become compassionate, lifelong learners. 

I am originally from West Virginia, where I graduated from Marshall University with my Bachelors in Elementary Education with a specialization in Early Childhood Education. This will be my third year teaching first grade!

My Fiancé and I moved to Greenville in January 2023 with our two dogs Sirgio, Kodak, and our cat Delilah! I love spending my free time walking or riding my bike on Swamp Rabbit Trail, shopping, reading, or just relaxing at home with my fur babies!

Color: Sage green or anything neutral

treat: Chocolate covered pretzels, Nerds Gummy Clusters, all things sweet!

Snack: Sour cream and onion chips, white cheddar popcorn, pickle flavored anything!
