What Is STEAM?
It is so exciting for our Brushy Creek students to have the opportunity to participate in STEAM activities! STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. The emphasis in these activities is to develop critical thinking and creativity while collaborating and communicating with a small group of classmates. These skills are extremely important in order for our children to be prepared for their future occupations as the job market continues to change. Developing such skills also enhances student progress and performance in the regular classroom.
