My name is Emily Hendon! I am so excited to be working with your student this year! I just graduated from Anderson Univeristity, go Trojans! I am so thankful to be starting my teaching journey at Sterling School with the CTC program. I love to garden, go on walks, read, and explore new adventures. I can't wait for this school year! This year, our school theme is to be the author of our own story! Students will be learning how to be active in their own unfolding story. This mindset, is an opportunity to realize that we can take responsibility for what our own futures hold!

This year, our class theme is “Grow Where You’re Planted.”
My goal is to encourage students to grow not only academically, but also socially and emotionally. While academic achievement will remain a primary focus, we will also emphasize the development of essential life skills to help students become well-rounded individuals.
