Meet Your Teacher

Hi, my name is Lauren Reaves! 

I LOVE teaching at Rudolph Gordon!!! The 2025-26 school year is my 20th year of teaching. This is my 18th year at RGS.  I have been teaching 3rd grade at Rudolph Gordon since the school opened in 2008.   I live in Simpsonville with my husband, Matt, and two daughters, Karson and Harper.  Karson is in 9th grade and Harper is in 5th grade.   I enjoy spending time with my family. My favorite hobbies include reading, spending time with my family, cheering on the Clemson Tigers, and doing "crafty" activities, such as painting and decorating.

I graduated from North Greenville University with a degree in Elementary Education. I also completed my Masters degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment from Walden University. I have taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades, but 3rd grade is my absolute favorite!  

I look forward to making new memories with my students and their families this school year at RGS.  My goal is to create a safe, fun, and loving environment that the children feel comfortable in so that learning can take place. 

This will be a great school year! I am excited and I look forward to having your child in my class!
