My name is Amanda Hendrich and I've been a teacher in Greenville County since 1998.

I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Furman University in 1998. I earned National Board certification as a Middle Childhood Generalist in 2007 and maintain that certification today. In 2013, I completed coursework to add an Early Childhood endorsement to my teaching certificate. In 2014, I earned a Master of Arts in Elementary Reading from Grand Canyon University and a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University: Portland.

My husband John and I live in Williamston and we have three children: John, Ansleigh, and Addison. We spend all of our free time at our favorite place: Cherry Grove Beach.

Being a reading interventionist is truly a dream job for me. I love working in small groups with students each day and helping them fall in love with reading!
