Welcome to First Grade!
Hello first grade families! My name is Morgan McCanless, and I’m so excited to be your child’s teacher this year. First grade is such a special time in a child’s learning journey, and I feel honored to be a part of it.

I graduated from Anderson University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, along with an Early Childhood Education Certification. I went on to earn a Master’s in Teaching and Learning with a STEAM specialization from Clemson University in 2021, and most recently completed my second Master’s in Educational Technology and Instructional Design from Western Governors University in 2024.

I am truly passionate about teaching first grade and believe in creating a warm, encouraging classroom where every child feels seen, supported, and inspired to grow.

Outside of the classroom, I love reading, spending time at the beach in Hilton Head, taking walks with my dog Daphne, and hosting friends and family at our home.

I’m looking forward to a fantastic year filled with learning, laughter, and lots of growth!

Hello! I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year! My name is Lily McCulloch and I am looking forward to helping your student learn and grow. 

I graduated from Clemson University in the Spring of 2026 with a Bachelor of Art in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Youth Development Studies. I am currently getting my Master's in Early Childhood Education through Clemson University and will graduate with my Master's in the Spring of 2027.

I am eager to learn and grow with Mrs. McCanless and create a classroom that encourages all students to be a part of our community. I am committed to creating a loving, safe, supportive environment for all students. 

When I go home for the day I love to go on walks or runs, and read. I like to spend my free time hiking, going to the beach, and travelling to have new, fun experiences! 

I am sure we will have a great year that is fun, full of growth, and creating connections!

Please find our daily schedule for Monday through Friday. Pay close attention to our PE day so that your son/daugther has proper shoes for class.
