Dear Parents and Students,

     I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and to thank you for allowing your student to participate in our Emergency Medical Services courses. My name is Hank Hill, and I am very excited to be teaching at Bonds Career Center. The largest majority of my adult life has been devoted to public service and helping others. My first introduction to health care began in 1991 as a Flight Medic in the United States Air Force Reserves. I later cross-trained in Fire Protection, where I finished my 20-year career in the military as an Assistant Chief of Training. As a civilian, I continued as a firefighter but quickly found that my true passion was emergency medical care. I enjoyed my role as an EMT, but had a desire to do more. So in 2007, I expanded my scope of practice and obtained my Paramedic certification.

     While working in an ambulance and taking care of patients is awesome, I wanted to share my passion for EMS with others and help introduce them to a career that is both exciting and rewarding. In 2013 I was able to do just that and became an adjunct instructor teaching EMT and Paramedic students. I have been able to share my experiences and knowledge with young people and introduce them to the wonderful world of emergency medical care. I am very excited about teaching your students and look forward to introducing them to EMS and proving a firm foundation for a profession that is rewarding and has a broad spectrum of career opportunities. 

     The course syllabus for all classes I teach is posted on my website. Please review all information carefully as they contain the necessary information for you to help your student be successful. Field trips may be offered throughout the semester, and parents will be notified of any fees required for the student's participation.
