Welcome to my website! I serve as the Literacy Specialist and reading interventionist at Bethel Elementary. As the Literacy Specialist, I carry out the district reading program by providing instruction to students, supporting core classroom instruction, and working collaboratively to implement a quality reading program.
As a reading interventionist, I serve students who are identified as needing support to achieve grade-level competencies in reading. Students in RtI (Response to Intervention) receive 30 minutes of supplemental instruction daily in a small group setting that supports core classroom instruction.
