Hello There!

My name is Megan Phillips (or Ms. Wright, depending on who you are!), and I'm incredibly excited for my eighth year as a Southside Tiger! This year, I am teaching Senior IB English and English 2 Honors. I also serve as the Student Council Advisor.  

I have a Bachelor's in English Language and Literature and a Master's in English with an Emphasis in Education. 

I love teaching, and I especially love Southside— there is nowhere else I would rather be. This school year will be fantastic, and I am excited to meet you all. We will be reading a wide variety of literature this year and having plenty of meaningful discussions. Discussion is the backbone of my teaching philosophy because I want to know what you think!
