Welcome to 4th Grade in Room 408 at Oakview Elementary School! On this website you will find numerous resources that will assist you and your child in my classroom.

Hello! I am Meghan Assinesi and I am so excited to be your child's 4th grade teacher this year! I grew up in Asheboro, NC. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education (K-6) from Appalachian State University in 2017. Then I graduated with a master's degree in Reading Education with a certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorders from Appalachian State University in 2018. I recently finished my Masters +30 in Online Teaching with a certification in gifted and talented. This is my 8th year teaching at Oakview! I am so excited for an incredible year!

I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. My husband and I recently welcomed a baby girl, and we are so in love with her. I also absolutely LOVE being an Auntie to four nephews and one niece.

When I am not teaching, you can find me searching for an adventure.

I student taught in South Africa (loved every second of it), backpacked in Europe, traveled throughout Thailand, traveled to the Caribbean, and traveled to Costa Rica.
