Hi there! I'm Sarah Poole, and I'm so excited to be a Pelham Road All Star! I attended Greenville County Schools as a child. As a student, I attended Simpsonville Elementary, Bryson Middle, and J.L. Mann Academy. My journey in education began as a Teacher Cadet as a senior at J.L. Mann, and it was then that I knew my passion was teaching.

I graduated from Clemson in 2010 with my Elementary Education degree. I then moved to Bluffton, South Carolina where I taught second grade for two years. Anxious to return to Greenville and be closer to family, I returned to teach fifth grade at Oakview Elementary. I taught at Oakview for six years. I then taught fifth grade at Taylors Elementary. I was honored to be selected as Teacher of the Year at both Oakview and Taylors during my time at those schools. For the past three years, I served as Lake Forest Elementary's Instructional Coach.

I hold a Master's Degree in Administration and Supervision from Clemson University. I also trained as a Master Teacher through Clemson's Teacher Residency program. This training included courses about mentoring and coaching teachers, and this is what led me down the coaching and supporting teachers path. Being in classrooms, collaborating with teachers, and lending a helping hand in any way are the best parts of my role!

When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family. I'm married to my husband Jon, and we have two sons, Jack (6) and Carter (5). We try to spend as much time as we can outdoors and love to spend fall Saturdays going to Clemson football games. I'm also an avid runner and reader in my spare time!
