Clubs and Organizations

Any student interested in starting a new club should contact Ms. Washington, the Assistant Principal responsible for extracurricular clubs.  The student will need a teacher sponsor and must complete an application to submit to the principal for approval.

See the site below for all that Mann has to offer!

Extracurricular Activities

Student participation in extracurricular activities is a privilege (not a right) that a student earns through proper conduct and academic achievement.

A student may be denied the privilege of participating in an extracurricular activity and/or an event when the student is on the obligations list; the student's conduct is not consistent with school board policy; the Student Behavior Code and/or academic standards; the conduct expectations and/or academic standards of J. L. Mann High School; and/or the conduct expectations and/or academic standards of the particular activity.

Extracurricular activities include, but are not limited to, athletic teams, academic clubs/teams, prom/dances, Spirit Week, graduation exercises, parking privileges, and attendance at any school function outside of the normal school day.
