All students who wish to drive to school and park on campus must purchase a parking pass and pass an Alive@25 class first.
All students who park on campus are subject to the following driver responsibilities. Failure to purchase a parking pass will result in tickets and/or your vehicle being towed at the owner's expense.
Driver’s Responsibilities:
Greenville County Schools provides bus transportation between the regular High School Campus and the Career Centers. The District prefers that all students take advantage of this transportation. A student must complete the SC Alive @ 25 Program and possess a JL Mann parking permit to obtain permission to drive to off-campus programs.
ALL OTHER PARKING LOTS/SPACES/ ARE OFF-LIMITS TO STUDENTS DURING THE SCHOOL DAY. Upon arriving on campus, students are to park in a parking spot in the student parking lot, get out of their vehicles, and report to the building area. Permission to return to a parking lot must be obtained from an administrator. Violation of this policy will result in disciplinary action. JL Mann High School reserves the right to have any vehicle towed or booted at the owner’s expense if it violates any parking regulation. No loud music, dangerous driving, loitering, parking without a permit, or inappropriate behavior is allowed.
Parking Fines and Consequences: 1st Offense - $20.00 Fine; 2nd Offense - $30.00 Fine; 3rd and additional Offenses or Major Offenses - $50.00/Loss of Driving Privileges/Towing or Booting of vehicle.
All vehicles must be moved out of the Band practice area of the student parking lot each day by 4:30 pm. This will also be treated as a parking offense and will receive a $20.00 Fine.
JL Mann High School has the right to revoke driving privileges, tow, or boot a vehicle at the discretion of the administration.
