My name is Carly Hudson, and I am so excited to be teaching 5th Grade at Rudolph Gordon School! This is my twelfth year teaching. I grew up in Simpsonville, SC, and am honored to be teaching in the area where I grew up. After growing up surrounded by teachers, it only seemed right to become one myself! I graduated from Anderson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. In addition to my studies at AU, I competed as a NCAA Softball player for 4 years. When I am not teaching, I enjoy playing Softball, going to concerts, experiencing as many new places as possible, and reading. I love going to the lake and enjoying time with my family. Although my family is an ACC family (Mom is a huge Clemson fan and Dad went to Georgia Tech), I love the Florida Gators and enjoy cheering on the Clemson Tigers! My favorite subject is Social Studies, and I try to visit as many new and historical places as possible.

As soon as school ended in May, I headed to London to soak up as much history and culture as possible. I had a great summer spending time with family and friends, visiting my favorite place, Lake Rabun, and working on my graduate classes at Clemson University.
