Mission:

The mission of the GCS Library Media Program is to foster a learning community that creates  lifelong learners who can:

• read critically

• express ideas

• investigate through inquiry

• use sources

• design solutions

• learn independently

• cultivate meaningful relationships

• engage as a citizen

• and pursue and develop personal interests

Library Vision Statement:

The library strives to be a center of collaborative learning where students not only become lifelong learners and readers, but also creators, innovators, and future seekers. This will be accomplished by collaborating with teachers, developing a collection that is representative of the community, and implementing literacy instruction for students.
