A little about me….
I was born and raised in Greenville. I grew up near Furman, a product of Greenville County Schools,  and graduated from Berea High School. I then went on to graduate from  Spartanburg Methodist College and the University of South Carolina. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. I am certified and highly qualified in elementary education, middle school social studies, and middle school language arts. I will be teaching reading and writing to our 5th graders!
This is year 27 of teaching for me! I began teaching at Hollis Academy and have taught at Greenbrier Elementary as well. During my many years of teaching, I have taught 4th and 5th grade. I love teaching and couldn't imagine doing anything else!
I am married to Thomas and we have four boys-Hunter, Colton, Jason & Ethan. Caroline Hazel is our only daughter and Baileigh is our daughter-in-law to be. We have also have some furry family members: Sophie, Delilah, Tiny, Nikki, and Cheyenne (our dogs); 14 goats and too many chickens to count!  We spend almost all of our free time doing various activities with our family.
