I am so glad you are here!
I am so excited to be teaching and working with students this year; as we explore literature, analysis, and informational texts from around the world! Verbal and written communication will be a focus between both peers and adults, and I look forward to helping students see the relevancy of ELA in many parts of their lives within and outside of the classroom.
It takes many people to make a student's learning a success! I would encourage parents, students, and community members to be aware of what the student is learning, and reach out with any questions you may have. Students, tell those at home your school schedule and assignments you are working on; parents and caregivers, check in on students and their grades. I look forward to partnering with you in helping students make wise decisions for growth this year!I cannot wait to see the steps each students takes toward their potential this year.
