Mettle for

the Medal

Mettle.  noun.  Ability and determination when competing or doing something difficult.

Students that earn G+ and/or CCR will receive a medal to be worn at graduation.

At Eastside High School one of our primary objectives is to see all of our students graduate from high school.  The goal is to have a student earning their high school diploma on time; in four years or less.  Along with the high school diploma we hope to offer more for our students through helping them earn District Recognition as a Graduation Plus (G+) graduate as well as to to be recognized by the State Department of Education as a College or Career Readiness (CCR) graduate.

G+ recognizes that jobs in today’s workforce require more than a high school education, Greenville County Schools is committed to graduating students with a diploma, plus a technical certification and/or college credit. Graduation Plus is a district-wide initiative from pre-K through high school to ensure all students are career and college ready.

There are multiple ways to earn G+ and/or CCR status.  Below is a list of ways to achieve this status.  More information about each option is also available.

Students that earn CCR status will be given priority when it comes to purchasing a parking pass at Eastside.  Students must submit all required documentation by the posted deadline to be given priority for their parking pass.
