Student Council is made up of representatives from each House voted on by their advisory group. The President and Vice President will be elected by the student body. The Secretary and Treasurer will be elected by Student Council members. Student Council will be responsible for planning pep rallies, spirit week, theme nights, and other events for the school. Student Council will fundraise twice each year - once during Spirit Week for a charity and once for the school. Student Council members are expected to be in good standing for attendance, grades, and behavior. Student Council will meet during FLEX each Monday in Room 2104. Being in student council has helped me grow a lot as a person because it’s taught me leadership, responsibility, and how to work with different types of people. As a representative, I’ve learned how to make a difference in my school. What makes it really fun is getting to plan events, share ideas, and be part of something bigger within the school while also making memories with friends at the same time.
