The Spanish Club is to educate others on Hispanic culture, celebrate Hispanic traditions and holidays and learn about the Spanish language.

Stemming from the Mesoamerican empires such as the Aztecs, Mayans and Incas, this era established the foundations of urban planning, mathematics, and complex social hierarchies in central and southern Mexico and Central America. The 16th-century Spanish conquest introduced a radical shift, imposing the Spanish language and Catholicism while creating a new social order.

Following the wars of independence in the 1800s, these new nations sought to define their own identities, often swinging between their deep-rooted colonial traditions and a desire for modern progress. Today, Hispanic culture is a vast and vibrant mosaic that spans throughout Latin America. The celebration of holidays like Día de los Muertos, and a global influence on music, literature, and art that remain deeply tied to its ancestral roots.
