Welcome to the Manga Club! This is a place for students who love manga, anime, and Japanese storytelling. In our club, we read and talk about different manga series, share our favorite characters and stories, and learn more about the art and culture behind manga. Whether you’re new to manga or have been reading it for years, everyone is welcome. Our goal is to create a fun and friendly space where people can connect, be creative, and enjoy the stories we love.

What is MANGA?

The Manga Club is a student-led club that reads and discusses Manga books. Manga books are Japanese comic books or graphic novels, that utilize a distinct, visually driven storytelling style.

Mission/purpose

What is the mission/purpose?

The mission of the Manga Club is to create a welcoming space for students who enjoy manga, anime, and Japanese storytelling. Our club brings people together to read manga, share ideas, and discuss different stories, characters, and art styles.
The purpose of the club is to help members discover new manga, express their creativity, and connect with others who have similar interests. We also aim to encourage respect for different cultures and storytelling styles while building a fun and supportive community at our school.

Schedule

Meeting times will be on the 3rd thursday of each month. The meeting place will be in the Libary. Also the time will be in the mornings before school.

How to join

When joining this club you will need to attend one of the club meetings above. When you do this you will have a opertunitiy to talk to Mrs. Rickey and ask questions if needed and let her know you would like to join.
