"This was my first time coaching since 2013 and it was a great experience. I loved getting to know these girl's and teaching them the rules to a sport that is evolving into something big across the district and the US. I believe you will see girls' flag football continue to grow and eventually be a sanctioned sport by the SC High School League. I am currently serving on a Girls' Flag Football Committee where we are planning for a bigger and better turn out for the 2nd year of Girls' Flag Football." -Coach Koutsos

"This was our first year hosting the club. A week after starting the club we found out that Greenville County Schools would be putting together teams at other high schools in our district. The season itself was put together rather fast, and we had little time to get a full team together at practices. We had games at JL Mann High School, Fountain Inn High School, and Mauldin High School. We won 1 game for our first season, but are beginning to plan and get ready for the next Fall Season to improve on that record. I enjoyed coaching this team alongside Coach Jones." -Coach Koutsos

"I learned about flag football the first day of school when they were having clubs, which made me join because I love playing flag football. I played it in middle school and I want to continue my journey. I played as one of the defenders, one of my biggest achievements was our last game when I got my pick 6 and ended up on the North Carolina Asheville NC news show. When I played flag football I got better at working on myself and not staying in the house all the time, I had more friends and more bonding. There was so much support. They were fun and we made a bond and connection. Yes I do recommend it, it would be fun to experience for more girls to join our team. I would tell them to try out, and how we practice things and make people comfortable about trying new things and getting around different people." -Morgan Speas
