Hi Friends! my name is Beth Hadley!
I graduated from THE University of South Carolina (GO GAMECOCKS!) and I have been teaching for 30 years. I received my Masters in Education at Columbia College. I have taught second, third, fourth, fifth and eight grade ELA and was also a Reading Interventionist for 2 years. Before coming to Greenville, I taught in Fairfax County, Virginia for 2 years and Columbia, South Carolina for 5 years.
I have one wonderful son, Charlie. Charlie is a Junior at the University of South Carolina and is studying History. We live in Simpsonville and love to see everyone out and about!
I have one sister, one brother, two nephews, two nieces and one GREAT nephew. My family lives in my hometown of Alexandria, Virginia. We love to go and visit!
I love to read on my back porch or on a beach somewhere. I love to bake for my family and friends. You can often hear me cheering loudly for the Gamecocks, especially during football season!
I am most excited about the opportunity to teach such wonderful and creative students every day. My class (and former students) fill my heart every day with their contagious love of learning and discovering of new things. The greatest compliment I can ever get is for a parent or student is to say they love coming to school every day and can't wait to learn or they can't wait to share something new they learned. I am committed to every child having the very best year and for them believing in themselves and being the very BEST they can be!
Charlie and I are always on an adventure. This picture was taken in the New York Subway Station.
