Mr. Burgess had us (teachers) take a Gallup Strengths Test. Those were my top five themes of talent. This is a shortened version of what each word means according to Gallup.
Responsibility - I take psychological ownership of anything that I commit to and feel emotionally bound to follow it through to completion. My good name depends on it.
Relator - I value genuine relationships. I want to understand people's feelings, goals, fears, and dreams.
Arranger - I have effective flexibility. I arrange variables in the most productive configuration possible.
Restorative - I love to solve problems.
Belief - I possess a strong belief system. I value responsibility and high ethics. (As my students would say, "Mrs. Flanagan is a rule follower!")
