My name is Ashley Thornton. This is my third year at Grove Elementary, and my 9th year teaching. (Two of those were full time substituting for GCS). I am a product of Greenville County Schools, graduating from Greenville High in 2010, Go Raiders! I have my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from The University of South Carolina, class of 2014, and I am Read to Succeed endorsed. I am currently enrolled at USC Upstate, to achieve my add on for working with Multilingual Students. 

In my spare time, I enjoy watching the Gamecocks play, watching the Mississippi State Bulldogs play, reading, traveling, and spending time with my family. I have been married to my husband Tyler for 6 years. We have two boys, Knox (5) and Parker (3), who are our biggest joy in life. We also have 2 cats, a dog and a turtle! 

I am so excited about this year, and everything we will accomplish together!
