Hi, I'm Ms. Elder! I'm the school counselor at Duncan Chapel and I'm so excited to be working with students through weekly classroom counseling lessons. We will learn Social, Emotional, and Academic skills for success at school, home, and beyond.

I have my Masters in Counselor Education with an emphasis in Elementary School Counseling from The Citadel and am highly qualified to serve as a school counselor.

CONFIDENTIALITY is emphasized in my office. You are the most important part of your child's life and I encourage students to go home and talk to their parents about our chats! I also let them know that I will keep their confidence by not sharing what we talk about with others unless there is a safety concern or they give me permission.
