Rick Strickland

I am excited to be teaching science at Lakeview Middle and I look forward to meeting each of my students in the coming year! I have enjoyed teaching science and I hope to show students how fun and exciting science can be and how it connects to other subjects. I grew up in Greenville and graduated from Berea High School. I attended several colleges and graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Science Teaching with a concentration in Biology. I graduated from Winthrop University with a Masters in Teaching and Educational Leadership.  I graduated from Gardner-Webb University with a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. As a lifelong learner, I hope to cultivate in my students the courage to ask and answer questions with confidence, to help my students develop and use problem solving in their classes and help students see school as a path to utilize to help them be successful.
