Ms. Sweeting

I am the RtI Coordinator and Reading Interventionist at Armstrong Elementary School. I meet with students in small groups throughout the day and provide extra reading support, in addition to the literacy instruction that occurs in their classrooms. The program we use at AES is Fountas and Pinnell's Leveled Literacy Intervention (LLI). LLI is a powerful, research-based intervention that provides intensive, daily instruction to struggling readers.  I also support our first grade students by teaching a 30 minute lesson in our literacy lab for each first grade class.
