Beck academy Health & physical education
About me
Welcome to Beck Academy Physical Education! My name is Michael Wilson and I am starting my second full year as a PE teacher at Beck. I started November of 2021 after being a substitute teacher. My previous career was in collegiate coaching where I coached track and field for over eight years at both Lees-McRae College and Wofford College. I have also spent time as a personal trainer and strength and conditioning coach. I attended Appalachian State University where I studied exercise science and was a member of the track and field team. I then went on to receive my master's degree in physical education from the University of South Florida. I currently live in Greer with my wife, two children, and dog. I enjoy playing golf, exercising, hiking, and traveling.
