2018 - 2019

Ambassadors: are responsible for delivering items to and from the front office each morning. They may be asked to help during special events or with special groups visiting the school. Rising 4th and 5th graders may apply. Sponsor: Leslie Cook (lbcook@greenville.k12.sc.us)

BVTV is our morning news show. Members of this team work on 9-week rotations and can be either an anchor (the face you see on the news) or a technician (working behind the scenes to make the show come together smoothly). Members need to be at school no later than 7:45 on their assigned days with their scripts prepared and ready for a quick run-through before the show starts. Color Guard members are responsible for raising and lowering the flag each morning and afternoon. Sponsor: Dave Burgess (deburgess@greenville.k12.sc.us)

Library Leaders will assist Mrs. Hester and Mrs. Fouke in the media center. They will straighten book shelves, find lost/misplaced books, clean and organize centers, process and stamp books, deliver books and technology to classrooms, and manage events such as the book fair. Public Relations Leaders may be asked to create signs and banners or they may create commercials to be run on BVTV. Sponsor: Kristen Hill (kahill@greenville.k12.sc.us)

Roving Reporters may be asked to take photos and video of special events happening at school. Teachers can create appointments and students will be assigned as they have time in their class schedules.

Safety Patrol students assist with arrival and departure routines for car riders, bus and van riders, and walkers. They serve on either the morning team (must be ready to report to duty at 7:25am) or the afternoon team (must have car pickup at 2:50pm or attend the BV Extended Day Program). Members of this team need to be responsible, reliable, and willing to work in any weather. Safety Patrol is only open to rising 5th graders. SWAT members are those who are interested in helping teacher, can work independently, and would enjoy such tasks as sorting, cutting, filing, etc. Members of this team are on duty the same day each week from 7:30-7:50. Sponsor: Katherine Hawkins (kehawkin@greenville.k12.sc.us)

Technology Leaders will be available at scheduled times to help students who need assistance with their Tinkercad/3D projects. They will be responsible for formatting projects and "slicing" them for the 3D printer. Sponsor: Natalie Hester (nhester@greenville.k12.sc.us)

2018-2019 school year that will be forthcoming in the fall.
