Bryson Middle School Orchestra

A Note From Ms. Klotz

Welcome (or welcome back!) to the Bryson Middle School Orchestra Program! I am so excited to begin this year of music making with each of you as your orchestra director!

As musicians and BMS Orchestra members, we have the opportunity to impact our families, friends, classmates, and community with the music we create. In order to do this successfully, you need to understand the expectations and procedures that are set for orchestra and follow them closely.

Please carefully read and review the BMS Orchestra syllabus so that you can “conduct” yourself accordingly in orchestra class and better understand how the orchestra program works. While your musical growth is your individual responsibility, I encourage each of you to think about the impact that YOUR musicianship may have on OUR orchestra ensemble as a whole.

As your teacher, I hope everyone feels welcome and at home in my classroom and I will do my best to create that environment. I aim to grow and develop your love for music, along with respect and appreciation for one another! Everyone develops musically at a different pace and we need to remember to respect each and every orchestra member during this thrilling process.

I promise to give you an exciting and memorable experience as a part of the Bryson Middle School Orchestra family and cannot wait to see what this year has to offer!

Sincerely,

Ms. Chandler M. Klotz, B.M.Ed.
