About Me:

I've been a teacher here at MHS for the last twelve years. I cannot imagine being anywhere else. I'm an upstate native and Clemson Alum--Go tigers! While I root for my alma mater, I have been known to pass a kid or two who doesn't support my team. ;-)

I have always wanted to be a teacher, and the last twelve years have been wonderful.  I enjoy discussing literature with students and helping them struggle through poetry and the writing process. My goal as a teacher is to help every student realize that there is no such thing as being "bad at English." We all have strengths and weaknesses, but those change over time. Our goal is to become stronger English students by the end of the semester. That is success.
