Meet Ms. Gonzalez

Welcome to 3rd Grade!
I'm so excited to welcome you and your child to the 2025–2026 school year! Third grade is such a fun year filled with amazing learning opportunities, and I can’t wait to share it all with your child. My main goal is to build a strong classroom community where every student feels safe, valued, and supported. I’ve planned a variety of activities to help create a true family of learners, and I look forward to partnering with you to make it a great year!

About Me

Hi! I'm Liz Gonzalez, and this is my 20th year in public education. I’ve taught 2nd through 5th grades and currently teach at Bethel in Greenville. I especially love teaching math and science because they offer so many fun, hands-on learning experiences. Outside of school, I enjoy reading (especially small group reads), swimming, and spending time with my family.

My daughter, Sarah, is currently studying arts management and theatre at Harding University in Alabama. We're big fans of beach trips, movies, and relaxing with our dog, Will.
