About Me
After completing a BA in philosophy from Wofford College and master’s work in journalism at USC, I worked in media relations and publications at Wofford, as a reporter at the Spartanburg Herald Journal, and as a freelance writer before earning a master’s degree in secondary English from Converse College. This is my 27th year teaching English at Eastside.
I have a college senior myself this year, so I have a little extra insight preparing juniors and seniors for what lies ahead. I look forward to working with your students to help them become effective communicators and to be critical consumers of the messages they receive on a daily basis.
