My name is Jill Barnett and I teach Visual Art here at Bryson Middle.
I make artwork featuring the human body and skeletal system interposed with floral elements. In my free time I enjoy hiking, reading Stephen King books, and thrift shopping. I am married and have two cats.
The most important thing about teaching is the ability to make a lasting impact in a student’s life just by seeing and valuing their contributions and personalities as individuals.
My Mission Statement: To teach my students how to be responsible adults who can share with and contribute to a community of enrichment, to demonstrate creative thinking and process, to explore unfamiliar techniques and materials. To teach them to do it all with tenacity and bravery, without fear of mistakes.
