Chrissy Faasse: Monday - Wednesday
Chrissy Faasse is from Belton, South Carolina. She holds a Bachelors of Music Education with a Vocal/Choral concentration from Anderson College and a Masters in School Leadership from Furman University. Chrissy has performed in London and Oxford, England and Maebashi, Japan. Chrissy has been a music teacher for 19 years, seven of those serving Greenville County Schools. She has taught at both elementary and middle school levels. Chrissy believes that all students have genius and provides more than ten performance opportunities for her students each year.
jeana nitsche: Tuesday - Thursday
Jeana Nitsche is from Greenville, South Carolina. She holds a Bachelors degree in Dance Education from Columbia College. After college graduation, Jeana was chosen as a featured dancer in the 1996 Olympics Opening and Closing Ceremonies in Atlanta, GA. She has studied under many great teachers and performed in many different places during her years of being a dancer. Jeana taught dance in the public schools in Columbia, SC before moving back to Greenville where she taught for the ARMES dance program at The Greenville Fine Arts Center for 10 years. She is a true product of Greenville County Schools - graduating from Riverside High School in 1992 and as a dance student at The Fine Arts Center. Jeana has been the Magnet Program Coordinator at Stone Academy of Communication Arts for the last 10 years and is so honored to be rejoining her "home" at The Fine Arts Center in her new role for the ARMES program.
