Miss Ricketts 2nd grade!

About Me:

I am so excited to be teaching 2nd grade this year! This is my 3rd year at Grove and I am a proud eagle! I graduated with my B.S. degree in Elementary Education from Anderson University in Anderson, SC. I am very familiar with Grove, I completed my student teaching in 5th grade at Grove and was hired as a 4th grade teacher shortly after. Teaching is not only my passion, but it is my calling in life and I enjoy every day that I get to step into my classroom and inspire my students and watch them learn and grow. I am a huge Gamecock fan and love to watch college football with my family. I have a sweet furbaby named, Bear. I rescued him three years ago from a local shelter and he is an amazing dog! I enjoy reading, cooking, and teaching!
