I grew up in Georgia, which is also where I went to college! I attended the University of Georgia and studied Special Education for both my Bachelor's and my Master's degrees! Goooooo DAWGS!
This is my fifth year teaching and my fourth year at Grove. I look forward to this new school year and to learning from and with my students!

My expectation is for students to do THEIR best. I understand that everyone's "best" effort may not look the same, and I make sure to honor that in my classroom. Students will work hard and expectations will be high, but I will also meet them where they are and on their level.
Please be sure to add yourself as a parent to our Class Dojo. Most parent/teacher communication will happen there. It is also updated regularly with our newsletter, school events, and other helpful resources throughout the year.
