Week One:

- Importance of Focus, Discipline, Structure in Theatre
Week Two:
- Blocking- Stages and their Areas, Levels, & Positions
- 8 Characteristics of a Stage Voice and "Grip Top Sock"
- Name Quiz (Rehearsal grade)
- Introduce Improvisation & Pantomime
Week Three: September
- Develop the actor’s STAGE VOICE
- Develop Team Building and Ensemble work- Numbers Game, Zip, Zap Zog
- Develop Pantomime Skills
- Grip Top Sock recital (Performance Grade) & Audience Etiquette
Week Four:
- Develop pantomime into Tableau
- Review for Unit Test Unit Test (Performance Grade)
- Snapshots- Develop storyline SNAPSHOT Performance- (Minor Grade)
Week Five:
- Acting Scenes- Partners and scripts
- Techniques to create Blocking
- Develop blocking to convey relationships/conflicts/meaning
Week Six:
- Blocking Checked (Homework Grade) Snapshot of Blocking Notes
- Working with partner groups to enhance the Blocking
- Upload Video of Blocking (Rehearsal Grade)
Week Seven: October
- Line Memorization Checked- Upload Video (Rehearsal Grade)
- Polish Scenes for performance, Peer Critiques of scenes
- Scene Performances (Performance Grade)
Week Eight: thru October 18
- Develop story and character for monologue
- Written monologue due (Rehearsal grade)
- Memory Check for Monologue ( Rehearsal grade)
- PERFORM Monologue (Performance-MID TERM ASSESSMENT)
Week Nine:
- Teddy Bear Tea Script and Characters developed
- Polish dialogue
Week Ten: November
- Finalize script for TBT
- Audition/ Casting of TBT
- Develop toy groups and routines
Week Eleven:
- Begin Blocking of speaking roles
- Finish toy group routines and polish
Week Twelve:
- Begin Full Run Thru Rehearsals with both speaking roles and group routines
- Polish routines or blocking as needed
- Speaking roles work on memorizing lines
Week Thirteen:
- Pull and Assess Costumes for Teddy Bear Tea
- Run thru w/ lines with speaking roles and routines with toy groups
Week Fourteen:
- Finish Set, Costumes, Sound for Teddy Bear Tea
- Dress Rehearsals (Major Grades)
- SATURDAY Dec. 2 at the Hyatt- Teddy Bear Tea Performance (MAJOR Grade)
Week Fifteen:
- Evaluation of the Performances
- Unit on Theatre Roles and Responsibilities
- Theatre Roles and Responsibilities Unit Test (Major Grade)
Week Sixteen:
- Performance Scenes for EOC Performance- Decide on Partners and Read scripts
- Develop blocking to convey relationships/conflicts/meaning
Week Seventeen:
- Finalize blocking and character work for EOC Performance
- Pick-up Rehearsals for School Performances
- Elementary School Performances Dec. 15
- Possible Performance at Fine Arts Showcase
Week Seventeen: January [EOC TESTING BEGINS]
- Continue with Blocking for EOC Performances
- Blocking/ Memory Check for EOC Upload Video (Rehearsal Grades)

- Lighting maintenance and refocus
- Continue to develop Drill skills
- Begin Skills Development- Jig Saw

Week Five:
- Skills Assessment- Jig Saw
- Develop SET DESIGN for Fall Show
- Develop LIGHT and SOUND DESIGN for Fall Show

- Set Construction for Fall Show begins
- Technical design for Haunted Hallway
Week Seven: October
- Set Construction continues
- Set up space for Midnight Jam/Haunted Hallway
