My name is Andrea Chavez, and I am so excited to be working at Reedy Laurel! I received my undergraduate degree from Clemson University and my master’s degree from Clemson, as well. I have always wanted to teach 2nd grade, and am so grateful for the opportunity to open a brand new school. 

I have two goldendoodles named Mia and Ginger and a bichon named Puffy. They keep me very busy! I enjoy being outdoors and am currently training for a half-marathon.
