Mrs. Fredericks SPED
Graduating from a small private college in North Miami Beach Florida, the thought of teaching Special Education classes in NW Arkansas never occurred to a young woman who believed work in residential treatment, would fill her career. However, the desire to live in a place with varying seasons, clean water, an abundance of land as well as a safe environment to raise a child in, led my family to relocate to the Arkansas Ozarks, and me to my life long career on the campus of Greenland Schools. I have been on the campus here for the last 36 years. In that time I have taught all ages from 5 years of age to graduating Seniors. The majority of my time has been spent teaching High Schoolers.
I live on a farm that consists of 310 acres of mainly wooded land in the beautiful Boston Mountains south of Fayetteville that is near Devil's Den State Park. On a few acres of the farm we have pastureland on which we currently raise a variety of birds, Pygmy goats, mini-donkeys and my latest passion a small herd of registered Irish Dexter Cattle for breeding stock .
At present I am the Resource Room Teacher for 9-12 grade. The main subjects taught in my room are English and Math but I will be more than happy to assist with any subject material that any student needs help with, if it is within my power. Students and parents alike, are welcome to stop by or call with any questions or requests. Please find my contact information below.
Mrs Charrie Stump is the SPED Paraprofessional and Mrs. Regina Koonce is the District Special Ed. Paperwork Clerk. Without both of these two ladies we would not be able to do a good job for the SPED students in our building.
