Mr. Zachary Geiger

My name is Zachary Geiger and this is my tenth year teaching at Greendale High School. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin in May of 2014 and, before that, from Greendale High School in 2010. I earned a mathematical teaching license at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee in 2016. Continuing education is very important to me; therefore, I regularly enroll in professional development opportunities within Greendale School District and beyond. In May 2023, I attended a conference in Portland, OR about identity and computer science education. I serve as a Sources of Strength Advisor, Bowling Coach, Porcupine Mountain Backpacking Trip Supervisor, and Ultimate Frisbee Coach at Greendale High School.

Outside of school, I cheer for the Greendale Panthers, Wisconsin Badgers, Green Bay Packers, and Milwaukee Brewers. Some of my favorite television shows are Ted Lasso, The Bear, and Only Murders in the Building. My wife, Tessa, and I spent most of this summer chasing our toddler, Ezra, around between vacations to Maine and Hawaii. My favorite restaurants include Kopp's and Chipotle and I seek out locally sourced food. I have a German Shepherd named Indie (Indiana Jones) and a black cat named Elle.
