Hello Everyone!
I’m Mr. Wes Clark, and I have had the privilege of teaching "WoodShop" at the GCATC for approximately 25 years. As an instructor, my greatest joy comes from meeting, teaching, and guiding students. Witnessing their growth and success is truly the best part of my job. Many of my students have joined my program and earned their Industry Certification, which has enabled them to secure rewarding positions in the woodworking field.
After graduating from high school, I proudly served in the military as a Military Policeman in Germany for over three years. During my time overseas, I had the opportunity to visit incredible places such as Berlin and Austria, and I even enjoyed skiing at Zugspitze, one of Europe's highest peaks. Following my honorable discharge, during which I received three Army Achievement Medals for outstanding service, I returned to Greensburg and began my career at Greensburg Manufacturing. There, I honed my woodworking skills and learned essential safety and machine operation techniques that I still utilize today.
Outside of work, I cherish spending time with my family, whether we’re watching movies or sharing stories at the dinner table. I am also an avid bass fisherman with over 25 years of experience, and I enjoy competing in bass fishing tournaments.
I am passionate about my job and love getting to know my students! If you're looking for a fun and exciting program, I encourage you to consider joining the GCATC's Wood Manufacturing Technology!
