My name is Tammy Thompson. I am honored to serve as the Guidance Counselor at Green County Middle School. This is my 30th year in education, serving all 30 years in the Green County School District. It has been a true honor and privilege to work in Green County all these years.
I am a graduate of Green County High School, Campbellsville University, and Western Kentucky University. I received my Bachelor of Science Degree from Campbellsville University in Education and my Rank I from Western Kentucky University in Counseling.
During my career in Green County, I have taught 7th Grade Math, served as the Director of the Green County Alternative School, and a Guidance Counselor at the high school and now at the middle school.
I have coached girls basketball at the middle school and high school level, as well as coaching high school softball. It has been an overwhelming blessing to have had the opportunity to work with so many children and their families over the years.
I have been married to my wonderful husband for 22 years. We have been blessed with one daughter, amazing nieces and nephews, and great family and friends. I enjoy sports, farming, kayaking, fishing, and spending time with my family.
My desire is to serve your child in a loving, friendly, and caring manner each and every day. My goal is for our students to be successful in the classroom academically, as well as developing positive relationships with others.
