Meet the Teacher

Greetings! I am the 8th grade Pre-Algebra teacher as well as one of the 7th grade math teachers here at GCMS. Although I grew up in Adair County, I have proudly held this position since I graduated from Western in 2011 with a degree in Middle Grades Math and Language Arts. I again furthered my education at University of the Cumberlands where I graduated in 2016 with my master's degree and am currently working through a Rank I program as well. I became an official Green County resident in 2020. I spend the majority of my free time with my husband and our two girls. We attend and are members of Columbia Baptist Church. We have two dogs, two cats and a small farm. I also love the outdoors, taking pictures, camping and reading. Our girls are 8, Lorelei, and 5, Lydia. They attend GCPS and GCIS and have had a great experience so far. Being parents is a dream come true. I can't wait to see what's in store for me during my next year at GCMS!
