Step 1

Your GCSD Network account is used to log on to Windows desktops and laptops, SafeSchools and Frontline. You can set up your account from anywhere using a computer or smart phone. District laptops must be logged into the first time while while on campus.

Setup your Network account using the following steps:

1. Press the following keys simultaneously on the keyboard: Ctrl-Alt-Del

2. In the Username field type in first.last where where first.last is your legal name from your social security card

3. In the Password field type in P@ssw0rd####

   • For Employees: #### is the last 4 digits of your social security number

   • For Non-Employees: #### is the last 4 digits of the phone number you have on file at the district with Human Resources

4. Press Enter on the keyboard - you'll be prompted to change your password

5. Click OK to continue

6. Type in a new password into the first field - be sure to type something you'll remember - passwords must be at least 8 characters and contain a capital letter, number, and special character

7. Retype the password into the second field - what you type here must match exactly what you typed in the previous step

8. Press Enter - if you were successful, Windows will welcome you and after a few moments you'll see your Windows desktop

9. Continue on to Step 2
