Greetings Geckos! I'm Jocelyn Lewis, the 2nd Vice President for Communications of our amazing PTA. I'm also a full-time employee for the State of Texas, and a proud parent of two awesome kids. My daughter is a 6th grader at Cedar Valley Middle School while my son is a Gecko in 3rd grade.Â
I started volunteering at the school as a Homeroom Parent for my daughter's class when she was in 2nd grade. I wanted to get to know my children's teachers better and build a relationship with them. In 2021, I joined the Carnival Games Committee and had a blast connecting with other parents who share the same passion for volunteering. It's crucial for parents and the community to show support for our teachers, administration, and children. Serving as a PTA officer for the second year now, I'm excited about what we can achieve this year!
