The 4-Part Framework to Actually Getting Deals Done
If you're trying to build a business, this is the minimum daily standard in your first year.
• ✅ 3–5 new real estate conversations (DMs, calls, open house chats, IG replies)
• ✅ Follow-up with 1–2 past contacts
• ✅ Check MLS for new listings (know your market)
• ✅ Share one piece of real estate content (even if it's a story, poll, or comment)
• ✅ Learn one thing (from your mentor, a training, or a deal)
🧠 Mindset: You are planting seeds every single day. Most won’t sprout — some will.
This is where you actually start to build a career — not just a presence.
• 🏡 Attend or host 1–2 open houses
• 📲 Book 1 coffee chat or buyer consult — even if they’re not ready
• 📈 Update your CRM or tracker (yes, even if it's just a spreadsheet)
• 📤 Send one proactive follow-up (example: 'Hey! A new unit just listed in your building')
• 🧾 Review 1 property or listing contract to learn the docs
• 💡 Analyze 3 sold listings in a neighbourhood — what made them sell?
🧠 Mindset: This is the engine-building stage. You’re not waiting for leads — you’re building the systems and knowledge that create them.
Each month should show signs of progress — even if you didn’t close a deal.
• 🗂 Add at least 10 new people to your contact database
• 📞 Reconnect with 10 old contacts (friends, family, past leads)
• 🔍 Go through 1 full buyer or seller intake process (even as a mock)
• 📣 Run one small campaign or promotion (building flyer, Instagram post, buyer poll)
• 🧾 Shadow one transaction from start to finish (ask a mentor to walk you through a deal)
• 📊 Reflect: What worked? What conversations went somewhere? What didn’t?
🧠 Mindset: Real estate is a 90-day game. What you plant this month blooms next quarter.
You’re not trying to be perfect. You’re trying to build momentum. If you have 20 conversations this month and 2 people ask you to check the market for them — you’re in the game.
