The exciting Mean Girls Jr. play was showcased on December 2nd at 7 pm, and December 3rd at 2 pm.
The seats were filled with family, friends, and fans of the Mean Girls movie.
All of the actors and actresses had the perfect role for them. They portrayed the characters well and had fun while doing so.
The music and acting were intriguing and convincing. The set kept the audience hooked with the bright pink background and pink balloons that hung across that said Gretchen's famous line- “That's So Fetch.”
When Cady moves from Africa, she attends a regular school after being homeschooled her whole life. This difference in environment has many effects on Cady making new friends. When she finds out who her real friends are, it isn't enough and chaos breaks loose.
For the main characters, Cady, the girl who moves from Africa and joins the “Mean Girls” was played by Jayda Perry. Regina, the main “Mean Girl” was played by Bella Adamaitis. She demonstrated the confidence needed to play this despicable role.
Gretchen, Regina's best friend, was played by Delia Euber who looked the part with her big hair and costume. Karen, who was in the mean group, was played by Leilah Daub. Bizzy Farley played Janice, and both Cassie Farley and Tyler Harrington played Damien. Mitchell Knowles played Aaron Samuels.
A 50/50 raffle took place during the intermission of the play on both nights to raise money for the drama department.
At the end, confetti went off to celebrate the end of a great play.
