REMINDERS
Safety Reminder: Please do not pull up in front of the school when buses are at the main entrance for student drop-off or pick-up. Instead, use visitor parking spots or park along the grass to help keep our students safe.
We encourage families to use the drive-through drop-off lane rather than parking and walking children inside. At this point, it is better for students if they enter the building on their own—they are ready, and they can do it!
Exceptions: Pre-K families, or if you know you’ll need extra time at the curb, please continue parking in a designated space. If spaces in the front are full, additional parking is available in the lower lot or near the gym doors.
Volunteers & Background Checks- If you would like to volunteer or chaperone, please remember that a background check is required (forms attached). The process can take a couple of weeks, so we encourage families to complete the forms as soon as possible. Background checks are processed in batches each Friday, and we cannot guarantee clearance in time for a trip if forms are submitted last minute. Thank you for helping us ensure all trips and events run smoothly!
Parent/Teacher (Pre-K-4) and Student-Led Conferences (5-8)- Classroom teachers and T.A. teachers will send an email to parents on October 17th to sign up for conferences (Sign Up Genius). They will be held in person on Thursday, November 6th, from 12:30-6:15 P.M., and Friday, November 7th, from 12:30-3:00 P.M. Dismissal on both days will be at 11:40 A.M. Lunch will be served before dismissal.
If you would like to schedule a conference with one of our special educators, specials teachers, or interventionists, please reach out to them directly (see directory here or at rts.grcsu.org/staff-directory/).
Our Lost and Found is full: all unclaimed items will be donated by the end of day today. Thank you!
We will be conducting another Egress (Fire) Drill the week of Oct 13, 2025
